Resolution
A call has three states, and it resolves exactly once. Resolution is terminal — a resolved call never changes, which is what makes the track record trustworthy.
PENDING→VERIFIEDorMISSED
◆"Reaches $X" means the reference price touched or exceeded X at any recorded point between publication and deadline — a touch counts; it doesn't need to still be there at the deadline. Every call states its price source on the ticket (CoinGecko in the beta), and the deadline is an exact UTC timestamp.
ⓘIn v1, resolution is a manual admin action with a documented evidence note, assisted by the automatically recorded feed price — price-oracle automation is deferred, on purpose, until it can be done correctly.
On resolution the system runs, in order: Brier update → Caliber Score recalculation → position close-out and fee calculation for any backed calls → notifications to the caller and all backers.
